Friends of the Ledding Library Annual Used Book Sale at the Portland Waldorf School in Milwaukie Oregon

A Huge Thank You from Friends of the Ledding Library!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the February 2025 Quarterly Book Sale! Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $3,306 through the sale of books, CDs, DVDs, socks, puzzles, and more! Sunday’s $10 Bag of Books Day was a huge hit!

A special shoutout to our amazing volunteers who made this event possible! Our Friends of the Ledding Library President, Nancy Wittig, gives a big thank you to everyone who helped, with extra appreciation to Vice President Donna Fuller for her dedication and hard work.

Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting Ledding Library’s programs and collections, helping to keep our community enriched and inspired.

2025 Sunday Book Sales are coming in May!!!

The Sunday Book Sales will begin in May in the Library Community Room.  There will be lots of books, CDs and DVDs along with merchandise such as socks and book bags.  The last Sunday of each month will be $10 a bag day.

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Sunday Book Sales, which begin Sunday, May 11 and continue through the end of October. Please contact Donna Fuller at dfuller503@gmail.com.

Friends’ Book Store Going Strong

Located inside the Ledding Library, the Friends Book Store stocks a wide range of exciting books, media and merchandise — and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The Book Store is currently open on (subject to volunteer availability)

Saturday 10-3

In 2024, the Book Store made around $13,000 — all of which supports the collections and programs of the Ledding Library.

The Friends of Ledding Library annual Plant Sale is coming up in May and we need donations of plants and pots along with help potting them up. If you can help, please contact Christina at leddingfriends.plantsale@gmail.com.
