The 2024 Annual Meeting Has Been Held. Read All About It.
The Friends of the Ledding Library held their 2024 Annual Meeting in the Ledding Library’s Community Room on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The meeting was a joyous affair, with incumbent President Nancy Wittig winning re-election in a landslide vote by Friends’ members. Vice President Donna Fuller; Treasurer Joe Sandfort and Secretary Sally Workman were also elected. Speaking for her successful slate of candidates and for herself, President Wittig exclaimed: “Thank you for the confidence that the Friends’ members have shown in me and in my team. If you think that 2023 was a good year for the Friends, 2024 will be even better. You ain’t seen nuttin’ yet”.
In addition, the Annual Meeting attendees approved a change to the Organization’s Bylaws which will allow elections to be held by email. And last but not least — the Friends projected 2024 budget was approved by those in attendance.
